The CREEC Academy is a spin-off from the Centre for Research in Energy and Energy Conservation (CREEC), set up to offer consistent competence-based short courses in renewable energy, energy access and energy efficiency topics for the energy sector.
The academy is hosted at CREEC with a vision to sustainably build capacities required for sustainable energy development in Uganda.
CREEC’s commitment to education and skill development has led to the creation of the CREEC Academy, a dedicated platform focused on delivering sustainable, market-driven training programs within the renewable energy and energy efficiency sectors.
The Academy takes on CREEC’s accreditation for competence-based training. CREEC is accredited as an assessment center to conduct Competence Based Assessments in line with Uganda Vocational Qualification Framework (UVQF) to handle Worker’s PAS, 1, II, III assessment level (s) through the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT) in the Ministry of Education and Sports under Certificate No: UVQF/604.
